Lucid Possession

Lucid Possession was an experimental opera that used Creator Toni Dove’s signature gesturally-controlled live cinema and haunting projection-mapped robots to unravel a high tech dystopian ghost story.

As Technical Director, I collaborated with a small group of designers to create the show’s “engine of linked technologies” and harden them for live performance.

Lucid Possession previewed at Virginia Tech in March 2013, where Ed Bear and I taught workshops on interactive performance technology. The full production opened at Roulette in Brooklyn in April of 2013.
