Museum Installations

West Virginia State Museum

This exhibit celebrated the many services to the state of West Virginia made by the steamboat Mountain Boy during the 1800s. I was commissioned to create a tightly mapped interactive floor projection using water dynamics, as displayed in the video above.

Design and Technology Prototyping

In 2014, I took part in the early-stage design and prototyping of several installations including a giant Etch-A-Sketch that drew portraits of patrons, a gesturally controlled Crayola Piano, and an interactive Bubble Tower.

Georgia Aquarium

I developed three interactive installations for the new Aquanaut Adventure educational wing:

Hydrothermal Vents Playing three different drums produce different foods from a hydrothermal vent at the bottom of the ocean. Each kind of food increases the population of an associated animal.

Mouthbrooders A touch interactive video game in which baby fish are saved from predators by touching each of them to return to the safety of their mother’s mouth.

Whale Shark Identification Using the same process as scientists, spot patterns are matched to identify different whale sharks.
